Elder was so highly regarded in folk traditions that it earned the nickname “the medicine chest of the folk,” and it was said that people would tip their hats in respect when passing an elder tree.
With its clusters of dark, jewel-like berries, it’s easy to see why elder has inspired so many stories. Our Elderberry Tincture infuses the rich, fruity character of the whole berry into a simple herbal extract—a lovely way to enjoy this storied plant.
Ingredients: Whole Elderberries* (Sambucus canadensis), in brandy and water. Extracted 1:2. *Organic
Suggested Use: Take 1-4 dropperfuls several times a day as needed.
